Who I am

I am Maud Cappelle, an ERP Project Manager with over 15 years of experience specializing in digital transformation for SMEs and mid-sized companies.

What drives me: understanding how people work and what they truly need, then supporting them to ensure technology becomes an asset, not a constraint.

My international background

My professional story began long before the world of ERP: it started at 15 during a school exchange in Melbourne. There, I discovered that languages are more than just a tool—they are a way to open up to others, understand nuances, and adapt.

Since then, I have lived and worked in Spain, Ireland, the United Kingdom, and for three years in Australia.

Today, I work daily in three languages, which helps me:

  • Read between the lines, even in a highly technical context.

  • Streamline communication between multicultural teams.

  • Remove ambiguity within complex projects.

Learning a language is learning how to adapt—and in project management, adaptation is everything.

Mastering Complexity: From Horse Transport to Project Management

In 2013, I paused my career to pursue a dream: becoming a groom and traveling across Europe in a horse transporter. This experience was an invaluable school for crisis management and anticipation.

I quickly realized that the reality of the European roads—much like project management—is far from predictable or linear:

  • Narrow, winding roads: Managing unexpected technical and logistical constraints.

  • Impossible maneuvers: Implementing creative solutions under high pressure.

  • Handling the unforeseen: Staying the course and remaining calm in the face of uncertainty.

It was in this demanding environment that I developed the ability to keep a cool head, anticipate risks, and maneuver through complexity. These are directly transferable skills that are now at the heart of my successful project management expertise.

Why I founded Capito: Giving Meaning to Transformation

This is the very principle I wanted to apply to the world of information systems and digital transformation. Drawing on my experience as a Functional Consultant (Oracle E-Business Suite) and Project Analyst at Groupama, I realized that success does not depend on technology alone, but on the buy-in and engagement of the teams involved.

That is why I founded Capito, driven by this unwavering conviction:

📢 A project succeeds when people understand what they are doing and why they are doing it.

Creating Capito is my way of bringing added value to companies that want to succeed in their digital transformation by putting human understanding back at the heart of the process.
